Kingdoms of Amalur didn’t quite make it onto the pantheon of all-time RPG greats though still enjoyed moderate critical acclaim and a small yet dedicated fanbase. Developer Kaiko have rebalanced certain elements to improve the overall experience. This remaster goes beyond a simple spit n’ shine for modern hardware. A completely new expansion, Fatesworn, is due for release later this year. This version of the game is a fully fledged port that packs in all the core content as well as both expansions – The Teeth of Naros and Legend of Dead Kel – as well as other bonus DLC. Now Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is preparing to make a splash on Nintendo’s handheld console almost a decade after its original release. A spruced up version of the game was released in September 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC after THQ secured the IP.
